It traces the journey of Ann Demeulemeester, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dirk Van Saene, Dries Van Noten, Dirk Bikkembergs, and Marina Yee—the Antwerp Six—who studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in the early 1980s. Their work broke with tradition and embraced disruption, as each designer presented their own collection at the British Designer Show in London, leading to their global success and making Antwerp a fashion capital.
